Add page numbers locally, with no watermark and no upload

This tool writes a page number onto the bottom of every page using pdf-lib's text-drawing API, letting you set a custom starting number and choose left, center, or right alignment — all without sending the document anywhere.

How it works

  1. 1

Upload the PDF you want numbered.

  2. 2

Set the starting number and position.

  3. 3

Run the tool to download the numbered document.

This tool never uploads your file. All processing happens locally in your browser using WebAssembly. Read more about how Foldr handles your data.

Frequently asked questions

Can I start numbering from something other than 1?

Yes, the "Start At" field lets you set any starting number, which is useful when a document continues from a previous section.
