Rebuild a corrupted PDF's structure without uploading it

When a PDF won't open cleanly because of export corruption or a broken internal structure, this tool loads whatever is recoverable and writes a clean, standards-compliant copy — locally, so a potentially sensitive broken file isn't handed to an unfamiliar server just to fix it.

How it works

  1. 1

Upload the corrupted or broken PDF.

  2. 2

Run the tool — no settings are needed.

  3. 3

Download the rebuilt document once recovery completes.

This tool never uploads your file. All processing happens locally in your browser using WebAssembly. Read more about how Foldr handles your data.

Frequently asked questions

Can this tool fix any corrupted PDF?

It resolves most common structural corruption from bad exports, but a file with severely damaged or missing data may not be fully recoverable by any tool.

Will repairing change the content of my document?

The goal is a structural rebuild, not a content edit — pages and data that can be read are carried over as-is into the new file.
